Citizen Newspapers Ltd is the legal entity that publishes the Croydon Citizen. It is a not-for-profit social enterprise, formed as a company limited by guarantee. It has no shareholders, only members who are not entitled to any profits it makes. All profits must, instead, be re-invested in the enterprise, according to our articles of association.

The Croydon Citizen is sustained by advertising revenue from our printed monthly news magazine. All profits are re-invested in the publication.
